Shared Propulsion Car

Back

Shared Propulsion Car is a project by Montreal artist Michel de Broin, exhibited at Mercer Union gallery in Toronto. An '86 Buick Regal stripped of its engine, suspension, transmission and electrical system and outfitted with 4 independent pedal and gear mechanisms. The vehicle retains the illusion of the mass-produced luxury automobile, but is reduced to a shell that now has a top speed of 15km per hour. This video, recorded by Benny Zenga, documents the car in motion, October 27, 2007. look this link: http://www.micheldebroin.org/projects/spc/index.html
