FUT strip scars solved by beard hair transplants - Dr Umar
BackDR Sanusi Umar uses the SFET procedure to transplant beard hair into two strip scars to successfully improve the appearance of the scar. The patient had undergone prior strip type surgical hair restoration at two separate clinics that left him with two STRIP SCARS in the back and sides of his head. The process of STRIP HAIR TRANSPLANTATION (aka FUT, FUHT, FUSS etc) currently used by most other clinics entails the removal of a strip of flesh from the back of the head. The resulting wound is sewn up resulting in a strip scar. Soon after the surgery, the resulting scar could start off thin. However, over the course of 6-12 months, the scar could widen or stretch. A widened or stretched strip scar could end up looking like in this patient or the widening could result in an even wider scar that could be sometimes be unsightly. The ability to keeping the hair on the back and sides of the head short reduces the appearance of baldness. The presence of a STRIP SCAR can make this impossible. A STRIP SCAR also reduces the option of buzzing the whole head, an option many balding men prefer to exercise at some point.
