Wichita Falls Texas Tornado
BackApril 10th, 1979 No audio This tornado was the most recognized of the Red River Valley outbreak (often referred to as "Terrible Tuesday"). Rated F4, it killed 42 people. This twister was unique in a couple of different ways. It caused a wide area of continuous F4 damage, and at times was as tall as it was wide, giving off the appearance of a simply massive tornado (which is evident in certain parts of the clip). Some rarely seen footage of the tornado is shown near the end. Credit: ????
