C4D Utas - The Future of History in Architecture
BackThis is a short film I had completed in the Object-Based Modelling elective class at the School of Architecture in the University of Tasmania in Launceston, Australia. The basic story is the son of a former student comes to the School of Architecture, now in ruins, in 2077 after a war against the Japanese. Much of the history of the region was lost in the war, and institutions like the School of Architecture that could help rebuild the history are left abandonned. A person currently residing in the ruins, meets the son of the former student and takes him on a 'journey' concerning the history of architecture. All models are done by myself in C4D and Lightwave 8, and the music and the story are loosely based on the Sacred Icon Stage of Halo 2. Due to time constraints I was not able to get the alpha channel working as well as I'd hoped, but it was not absolutely crucial to the project. Special thanks to Chris Rossetto, Martin O'Donnell (music, Joseph Staten (partial story), Justin Beall (teacher) and Mark Williams. Thanks alot..
