Prelude in C Sharp Minor - Stephen Heller
Back*** EXAM UPDATE *** I was convinced my performance was so bad (my pedalling was appalling) that I wouldn't even get a merit but I actually managed a distinction :-) I got 26 on this. Examiners comments were "Again, balance was a strength & the rhythmic momentum was captured at this well chosen tempo. Some of the L.H. work could have been delivered with greater clarity & you slightly over-used the pedal in places but much was accurate & stylistic" ***** This is a practice session for one of my 2007-08 Grade 6 exam pieces (apologies for the error at 1:11 as I should have brought the tempo back up to speed but didn't)
