Someone at Last Ch8
BackLast time on Someone at Last, Joe and asked Lauren to be his girlfriend and she accepted. Kia told Kevin if he ever needed to talk she was there for him. And Nick told Joe that he wants to ask Kia to be his girlfriend but he doesn't want to mess up their friendship. Let's see what happends next..... Someone At Last Ch8 The next day Lauren woke up to screaming and jumping. Lauren- What the fridazzle is going on!?!?!? Kia- My cousin!!!!!!!!!! Lauren- What about her? Kia- She's coming!!!!!! Lauren- Ok, Kia, settle down and explain. Kia jumped up one last time and then fell to her butt- Ok, when I was little and I lived in Texas my cousin Genevieve and I were best friends. We use to play everyday. My mom and her mom were sisters and we all lived in the same house. See, my parents didn't have that much money so we all lived togethor. But, then daddy got the job here with the record business of helping them with voice training and so we moved. I haven't seen her in 6 years. And now, she is coming to live with us for a year! YAY!!!!! Lauren feeling like she has been demoted on Kia's friend chart- That's great. I'm really happy for you. Kia- Thanks Lauren. You're going to love her. The conversation was interupted by Lauren's cell phone. Although she was greatful for the interuption she didn't show it. Lauren- Hello? Joe- Hey, what are you doing today? Lauren- Absolutly nothing. And you? Joe- Well I was hoping we could go shopping. How's that sound? Lauren- Great! Joe- Cool. Kia can come to but, Nick is busy. Lauren- Ok, hold on. Lauren to Kia- You want to go shopping with me and Joe? Kia- Sure! Lauren to Joe- She said sure. Joe- Ok, I'll pick you girls up in, how about an hour? Lauren- Sounds good. Joe- Alrighty then. Bye Lauren- Bye Lauren and Kia got ready. Kia couldn't stop talking about all the stories she remembered from her and her cousin Genevieve. Lauren smilled the whole time but, was silent.Joe finally arrived to what seemed to be a week for Lauren but was really an hour later. They drove to mall and went in a couple stores. Now they are in a store and someone bumps into Kia. Kia- Oh, I'm sorry. ?????- That's ok. It was my fault I wasn't looking where I was going. Kia smilled- That's a nice dress you got there ?????- Oh, ha. It's my sisters. She is trying on other stuff. Kia streching her hand out- I'm Kia ?????- Matthew. But, you can call me Matt Kia- What a lovely name Matt- Thank you. Kia- So your shopping with your sister? That is very charitable of you. Most guys don't even like shopping for themselves. Matt- Well, It's her prom coming up soon and I am kind of pertective so, I'm making sure she doesn't wear a too revealing dress. If you know what I mean. Kia- Absolutly, you don't want the guys getting any ideas. Matt- Exactly. They both kind of laugh Matt- You know we were just about to go get something to eat in the food court. You want to go with us? Kia- I'd love to. Let me just tell my friends. Matt- Cool Kia walked over to Lauren and Joe. Joe holding up a bright pink sparkly scarf with sequins all over it- Ok, what about this? Lauren- A little too.....I don't know. It's just.....not your color Joe- Darn I thought it would look great on me Lauren giggled. Kia- Hey guys, I just met this guy and we are going to go have some lunch. ok? Lauren- Ok. Have fun. Joe hesitant remembering Nick- Ya, have fun. Kia- Bye Kia went over to Matt and his sister and they left. Joe and Lauren finshed shopping and he took her home then went back to his house. Joe- I'm home! Kevin- Hey, did you find any boots for me. Joe- Nope, but I have something to tell Nick. Where is he? Kevin- Upstairs. He just got home Joe- Ok. Joe went upstairs and then lifted his hand to knock on Nick's door. But he stopped. He heard singing so, he leaned his ear against the door and listened. Nick singing- I don't know if you feel the same way but everytime I see you I fall apart inside If you're not here then I'm not ok I just want to hold you But it will take some time I just have to change your mind Joe backed away from the door and then was caught in a state of decision. Should he tell Nick? Or just hope Kia isn't serious with the other guy. Joe thinking 'I can't break Nick's heart'. So, he walked down stairs and watched tv with Kevin. Will Kia get serious with Matt? What will Nick think when he finds out? Is Lauren jealous of Kia's cousin coming? When will Ashley Tisdale enter the story?
