BackYay! We're having an election! We like the NDP so we made this little ditty for everyone. They're AWESOME! Vote for them won't you? On the very first day I cast a vote I voted for the NDP And on the very last day I cast a vote I'm votin' for the NDP You can knock me down and step on my face Slander my name all over the place But even Buzz Hargrove don't scare me I'm stickin' with the NDP I'm stickin' with the NDP My mother said You're gonna waste your vote But I'm stickin' with the NDP And my dad told me they're just a joke But I'm stickin' with the NDP They say they ain't got a chance in heck But they said they'd never win in Quebec Dites-le à mon frère Thomas Mulcair Je reste avec le NPD Succes avec le NPD (tiguidou, tiguidou) Tommy Douglas fought to get us healthcare So I'm stickin' with the NDP And they're not just talk when it comes to clean air I'm stickin' with the NDP Jack Layton rides his bike to work While the rest all take their limo perk They get chauffeured around in an SUV I'm stickin' with the NDP I'm stickin' with the NDP The Liberals sent us in to Afghanistan So I'm stickin' with the NDP The Conservatives had us recommit again So I'm stickin' with the NDP 'Cause Afghanistan has sovereignty And it's a job for the global community And the Taliban still grow poppies So I'm stickin' with the NDP I'm stickin' with the NDP We can house everyone in need and then some I'm stickin' with the NDP But they always wanna know "Where's the money gonna come from?" Listen to the NDP Stop the Liberals from givin' their cronies a share And cut the Conservative corporate welfare And we'll even stop payin' for the senate's airfare I'm stickin' with the NDP I'm stickin' with the NDP You can call me a tree huggin' hippie red But I'm stickin' with the NDP Jack Bauer could point his little gun at my head But I'm stickin' with the NDP They say "Canadians favour the status quo" They say "Look at what happened in Ontario" But now that Bob Rae's a big time Liberal I'm stickin' with the NDP I'm stickin' with the NDP (big time Bob, big time) The prosperity gap has got to go So I'm stickin' with the NDP Let the milk of human kindness flow I'm stickin' with the NDP 'Cause I'm down with social democracy And I love the true north strong and free And I'll back you and you'll back me We're stickin' with the NDP C'mon NDP Get it on NDP Chaka Kahn NDP (and ketchup loves potatoes... and the NDP)
