well you got to understand the piolits paniced and you make huge mistakes when that happens. and plus if they lost control they couldnt have made an emergancy landing. also they could have hurt more people if they crashed landed on the runway because the explosion could go to other planes on parallel run ways

why the hell would they not drop the plane down at the end of the runway... as soon as that engine came off or blew up i would of tried to do a crash landing and hopefully save lives instead of taking it up higher.
