HE is using autotune as an effect. not to correct pitch(witch is what its used 4). Thats like saying to a guitar player "why do u used reverb u can play"

well look at it this way theres basically only 12 keys the song could be in since all the major keys are the same as one of the minor keys so all you have to do is try a couple out and find one that sounds good

just use C Major, your voice wont change so much to the point where it will be noticeable that ur key is different. too much. it would be better to know the key, but its not necessary.

You may not know the root note off bat, from hearing it. But, u can simply [ress a key on the virtual or real keyboard until you get the same root...then, look at the key you've pressed and voila...that's the root note.

wassup man, well i got auto tune but it dont seem to work that well, i dnt know if its because my voice is just deep and im getting a different sound or what, because im sure your voice is different from T-pains and you sound just like him, I have the setting set just like you have them also, i dont know how to get that sound
