George & Louis Played with Preston before they went on to there Get The Funk Outma Face days, if i'm not mistaken that's how Quincy Jones found out about them.

Also on keyboard is Robert Sam (Graham Central Station) and Manuel Kellough (Graham Central Station) and in the early 90's did you know that George J played with Graham Central Station? Serious musicians, just plain funky.

meanmotor74,the show was musikladen also known as beat club which was on for over 500 episodes from 1964-79,1982-87. this was the 300th episode from 1974 it aired just a week from thanksgiving

Yes, That is George Johnson, his brother Louis played in the band also.

Yapp, brilliant stuff! It's from the german 70s tv show "Musikladen" epsiode 8 originally aired on october 31 1973. Those bandnames appearing are the results of an "oldie vote", which meant tracks from the late 60s show "Beat Club". Just take a look at wikipedia.
