Oh yeah...the Gimli glider. The Airbus the crew fueled up in gallons instead of litres - meaning they only had enough fuel for 1/2 the trip. Luckily the pilot was also an experienced glider pilot.
I've been to Michigan quite a few times in all 4 seasons and your right - falls there are beautiful.

I'm not from Manitoba but I love this song! Reminds me of our falls in Michigan. The song's swaying rhythm is contagious and the woman's voice is stunning! really incredible - Love the pics LOL the first two are great, I read about that emergency landing in Winnipeg

Its great to run into some friendly Manitoban's here on youtube. I myself was born in Ontario, have lived in Northern Manitoba since 79 and just love it here I fell in love with the song as well way back then. thanks for posting the song, its great hearing it again :)
