It works the same way for Mac. Just download the "Mac OS X Universal Disc Image" from ScummVM's website. Get that installed, then get yourself a bittorrent client--Azureus is popular for Macs, and search for a lucasarts compilation torrent on the web. Then, just fire up ScummVM, point it to a game folder, and enjoy. Unfortunately, the audio does not work for Loom using the Mac version of ScummVM, which kinda ruins the whole point of the game... but everything else seems to work great.

no idea how it works on mac, but you have to download the game separately, and add it to your list in scummvm by going to where the game is downloaded and telling scumm to load it from your hard drive. it doesnt matter what format it is, as long as scummvm works, itll load through the scumm engine

this game kinda ruled XD today's adventure games have the graphics but not the great story of monkey island or simon the sorcerer etc.

HI, ive been trying to understand how i can get this scummvm thing to work!! you seem likely to help me! do i need to download the game seperatly from bittorrent? if so what type would be best for my mac? does it matter? would be eternally grateful if you replied, ive been wanting to play this again for 15 years. that soundtrack drives me mad! haha. It's called torrents and scummvm You can download the original games and run them on the SCUMM engine adapted to newer versions of windows, just search for SCUMMVM and lucasfilm/lucasarts
