Wow i like how they have all these features, but they NEGLECT THE IPOD CONNECTIVITY! What the hell?!?! All they have to do is put an ipod dock to this, and maybe some onboard memory to track and store movie info from say.... imdb, and BOOM this would make a smashing sale. this is just a half ass gimik.

They will certainly have to change the name for the uk as one of our main tv stations is called ITV

It's the wirelessness (is that a word?) and the simplicity and reliability that Apple brings to a product that will sell it. Yes, you are correct that there are numerous cheaper superior alternatives to this product, but they involve a learning curve and elbow grease. This is all that in a can for those with $299 burning a hole in their pockets.
