I remember reading they had asked Owen Elliott (Cass "Mama Cass" Elliott formerly of the Mamas and the Papas) and China Kantner (daughter of former Jefferson Airplane members Grace Slick and Paul Kantner) to join them in the group. From what I understand Owen can REALLY sing much like her later mother, but she turned the spot down. Probably the best because a friend of mine met her and said she is a bit of a diva. China passed on the opportunity because she wanted to focus on acting.

Looks like no one didnt want to lose the 80s style. I miss the 80s yet this is a 90s song funny. anyway WP is nice but, their songs seem like the same one everytime

they dont have ladies sining group like today the people who make thesongs today SHOULD LISTEN to music like this today's music if you can call it rock needs to go back and partice some more

They hid poor Carnie behind a rock for the 'Hold On' video... and now, they barely even pan out enough to see her shoulders. In one scene, they even have her covering her nose and mouth. Ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahah.......!

Would you say WP is a pop country group? To me, their songs have that country sound. I didn't realise this when I was in my teens listening to their songs but now I'm beginning to see it.
